Branch Manager- Plymouth, Quincy, Floating

Overview:

Our Client, Bridgewater Credit Union, is a full service financial institution offering a variety of savings and loan products to customers across Eastern Massachusetts. BCU is seeking Branch Managers to direct the operations and staff of a branch office of the Credit Union, ensuring the branch meets organizational, financial, operational, and growth plans. The Branch Manager develops new business by initiating and continuing effective relationships with BCU members and potential members, from within the Credit Union as well as within the community. Most importantly, the Branch Manager will foster a stellar sales environment driven by exceptional service practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Achieves Individual Business Objectives, including increased growth with new and existing customers through Net Deposits, Consumer Loans, and Business accounts
  • Develop new business by building strong, lasting community relationships with BCU members, and potential members
  • Provide exceptional leadership by motivating and developing highly qualified branch staff 
  • Successfully identify employee strengths, providing training and development opportunity to help them succeed in their roles
  • Promote teamwork and a positive work environment
  • Manage all branch activities, ensuring compliance and keeping management informed of key operating issues affecting the branch
  • Track and report on monthly branch sales goals; train staff on cross selling opportunities to achieve monthly goals
  • Conduct full cycle loan processing in a timely manner
  • Provide friendly, accurate, and timely service and support for members and credit union associates 
  • Manage staff hours with zero overtime
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma required; Undergraduate degree strongly preferred
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in Bank Management or other relevant position required
  • Knowledge of management techniques and best practices
  • Proven track record of success developing staff of all levels into a high performing unit
  • Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to interact professionally with various levels of clients
  • Knowledge of banking industry products and regulations preferred

***Two of the three Branch Managers will be located at Plymouth and Quincy, MA. The third Branch Manager will be a floater, stationed in Bridgewater and floated to other branches as needed.

Universal Banker- Full and Part-Time

Overview:

Our Client, Bridgewater Credit Union, is a full service financial institution offering a variety of savings and loan products to customers across Eastern Massachusetts. As a community credit union, BCU places their members first and is committed to the mission of providing an unparalleled combination of products, services, and member experience.
The Universal Banker is responsible for performing intermediate level duties and support related to branch operations and financial services. You will provide high quality personalized and professional service to our current customers and new customers by making sure we exceed service expectations every step of the way.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a working knowledge of business products and services
  • Accurately and efficiently process all financial and banking transactions; following all compliance and security procedures
  • Balance cash drawer within balancing guidelines
  • Answer questions about products and services, resolve concerns, refer problems beyond authority level to supervisor
  • Identify cross sell opportunities and actively participate in sales promotions. Meet or exceed individual business objectives and branch sales goals
  • Build and maintain customer relationships by identifying and understanding their financial needs and providing exceptional customer service

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two or more years of experience or commensurate training in retail activities, including sales and cash handling
  • Upbeat, motivated, service oriented individual with the drive to be successful
  • Basic knowledge of retail product philosophy, policy, procedures, documentation and systems
  • Thorough knowledge of all retail products and services
  • Proven customer service and strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Effective selling, cross-selling and referral skills
  • Strong mathematical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

** Part Time employees will be working up to 29 hours per week between Monday and Saturday. Candidates for this role should have a flexible schedule within that time frame.
** Openings are available at the following locations: Bridgewater, Quincy, Fairhaven and Plymouth, MA.
